As 67-year-old Vietnam War vet Anthony Franzese was lounging in a chair outside his apartment one afternoon, one such loose air conditioner fell from the window of his apartment building, broke through a local wine-bar awning, and struck him. The man reportedly escaped the freak accident with minor injuries, but that didn't keep the owner of the air conditioner from feeling terrible about the incident and offered to watch the man's dog while he recovered.
